Farm Tours

Be welcomed to our lands.  Breathe in the fresh Fraser Canyon Air and begin your wellness Journey.  Discover the history and the lands of our Nlaka’pamux ancestors.  Be immersed in the daily activities of our heritage produce farm – growing good food naturally and sharing the wealth from the land since 1882.

Be immersed on the land.  Share in a welcome ceremony and traditional teachings.  Be revived with some wild-harvested tea to refresh you and honour our ancestors’ legendary hospitality.  Your welcome experience is at our Spapium Cultural Gathering Place at the head of our fish trail – overlooking the remarkable spectacular views of the historic meeting place of the Thompson and Fraser Rivers near Lytton, BC.  Be inspired by the history and knowledge shared by your Nlaka’pamux guide as you explore the trails to the “grandfather of all rivers” and up around the lands of Spapium.  Learn about Medicine and Food plants – (in season an addition to meals shared with other fresh-picked foods from the gardens.)  Learn how traditional Tse’wan – Wind Dried Salmon is prepared for the Salmon Wind Dry House.  Learn how to cook a wild harvested salmon on a BBQ stick, then Feast West Coast style.  Learn about Cedar and its inner bark.  Try cedar bark weaving from a friendship bracelet to other useful items like small baskets.
